PharmaKnowl Consulting participated in the First Saudi Conference on Pharmacovigilance (SCPI), the first conference organized by the Saudi Society of Pharmacovigilance, held on 23–24 April 2026 at Al-Sahafa Hospital, Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib, Riyadh. The two-day conference brought together regulatory authorities, healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical companies, academics, and pharmacovigilance specialists to discuss the future of drug safety and patient care in Saudi Arabia.

Throughout the conference, the PharmaKnowl team engaged with industry professionals at our exhibition booth, exchanging perspectives on current pharmacovigilance practices, evolving regulatory expectations, and the importance of building effective drug safety systems. The event created valuable opportunities to connect with organizations committed to strengthening pharmacovigilance across the Kingdom.

A key highlight of the conference was the participation of our CEO, Mohammed Jobran, as a panel speaker in the session “Strengthening Collaboration Among Stakeholders: Industry, Academia, and Regulatory Authorities.” The discussion explored how closer cooperation between regulators, healthcare institutions, academia, and the pharmaceutical industry can enhance pharmacovigilance systems, encourage knowledge sharing, and ultimately improve patient safety.

Across both days, conference sessions addressed topics including pharmacovigilance regulations, adverse event reporting, signal management, risk minimization strategies, and the growing role of collaboration in supporting a proactive patient safety culture. These discussions reflected Saudi Arabia’s continued efforts to strengthen its healthcare ecosystem and align with international best practices in drug safety.

For PharmaKnowl, SCPI was an opportunity not only to share our expertise but also to listen, learn, and engage with the professionals shaping the future of pharmacovigilance in the Kingdom.
